Sex, Dependency & Women-Child Ratio Chart of Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City, Dang District (2011 Census)

The pie-charts for male-female population, child and elderly dependency, and women-child ratios of Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City, Dang District is based on 2011 population census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) Nepal. As of 2011, Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City had total population of 141,528 with male 66,675 (47.11%) and female 74,853 (52.89%). Total independent population (male and female between 15 to 65 years of age) were 86,131 (60.86%) while dependent children (below 15 years of age) were 49,683 (35.10%) and elderls (65 years and above) were 5,714 (4.04%). As illustrated in the Chart, total dependent population includes both the children and elderly people who were 55,397 (39.14%). With respect to women and children ratio, total women between age of 15 to 49 years (statistically considered as women of child bearing age) were total 41,358 while children below 5 years of age were 13,084, which is equivalent to 316 children per 1,000 women. This women-child ratio is also considered as fertility ratio when specific fertility related data is not available.
