The pie-charts for male-female population, child and elderly dependency, and women-child ratios of Ramgram Municipality, Nawalparasi_W District is based on 2011 population census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) Nepal. As of 2011, Ramgram Municipality had total population of 59,455 with male 27,852 (46.85%) and female 28,993 (48.76%). Total independent population (male and female between 15 to 65 years of age) were 35,031 (58.92%) while dependent children (below 15 years of age) were 18,970 (31.91%) and elderls (65 years and above) were 2,844 (4.78%). As illustrated in the Chart, total dependent population includes both the children and elderly people who were 21,814 (36.69%). With respect to women and children ratio, total women between age of 15 to 49 years (statistically considered as women of child bearing age) were total 15,610 while children below 5 years of age were 4,981, which is equivalent to 319 children per 1,000 women. This women-child ratio is also considered as fertility ratio when specific fertility related data is not available.
