In order to rein in spread of novel coronavirus epidemic, the state-5 government has put in place a campaign with preparedness plan.
Public awareness programme as well as arrangement of quarantine service and isolation ward have been put in place to mitigate potential risks of COVID-19.
The government has issued a 13-point directive to prevent coronavirus risks. A meeting presided over by Chief Minister Shanker Pokharel stressed on devising massive public awareness drive against threat of coronavirus. Likewise, all District Administration Offices in the state have strictly regulated the mobility of pilgrims via Nepal India border points till the COVID risks are mitigated.
The meeting has decided to take stern actions against those involved in creating artificial shortage of essential goods and medical masks, senitizers and globes in the crisis time.
A high level team comprising Chief District Officer of the concerned district has made necessary preparation to monitor the market and provide health screening service to the passengers at Gautam Buddha Airport.
The state government has already banned organizing programmes involving crowd of people in any place and agency to prevent the possible infection, shared Information Officer at Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law Narayan Aryal.
Also, the educational institutions in the state have also been shur down. Special preventive training has been imparted to the health workers in the state.
