A three-day skill enhancement training organized by the Rastriya Samachar Samiti or RSS has kicked off here today. The training is supported by the Internal Affairs Ministry of State-5.
While inaugurating the training, Internal Affairs Minister Kul Bahadur KC said all media were interlinked with RSS therefore quality of RSS news delivers positive messages to all media. He shared that the RSS should play an effective role to lessen the gap between government and media. He urged the media to reach state and local governments’ activities to people.
Speaking in the same programme, RSS chair Shyamal Adhikari said that the government would be stronger if RSS was made stronger and effective. He expected support from state government to reach quality services to the local levels. Chair Adhikari argued that the RSS was becoming a bridge between the people and government.
RSS General Manager Opendra Sharma opined to extend RSS services to the local levels. He said RSS was preparing to issue bulleting from all the states. Similarly, former RSS chair Balkrishna Chapagain said that the RSS news are balanced and credible.
A total of 30 journalists from the State are attending the training.
