Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Yogesh Bhattarai said that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli-led government was on the ‘right’ track.

Addressing an assembly of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP)’s cadres at Damauli today, Minister Bhattarai claimed that the incumbent government was on the ”right” track and heading towards the ”right” direction.

Bhattarai said, "Although the government is moving ahead on the right track, sometimes we have to go through the tough roads. Obstacles appear on our way but we should continue moving ahead removing all those hurdles."

The minister termed Prime Minister Oli as an ”able” and ”skilled pilot” and expressed his confidence that during his leadership, the NCP would have a safe landing.

Furthermore, he said that the recently held NCP’s central committee meeting was successful in further strengthening and unifying the party unification process.

Bhattarai, who is also one of the NCP’s standing committee members, said, "There were some clouds hovering the sky of NCP and winds had also blown in the NCP before the central committing meeting but the meeting has cleared off all the dark clouds and winds. The sky of NCP is now clear and its land is fertile."

According to him, all the NCP leaders attending the recently held meeting in Kathmandu would now return to their respective villages and pay heeds to the concerns and issues of the cadres.

He also informed the cadres that the next general convention of the NCP would be held in April 2021 and said it would further strengthening NCP.

He urged the cadres to be prepared for yielding more favorable results in the three-tier elections to be held immediately after the NCP’s next general convention.

According to him, the public had loads of expectations from the incumbent government and the government was working towards meeting them.
