The main opposition Nepali Congress general secretary Dr Shashanka Koirala has said that the party leadership would be changed from the upcoming 14th general convention.
At a press meet organized by Press Union Jhapa chapter here Monday, leader Koirala said that party would be united from the upcoming general convention. He claimed that NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba was exercising groupism in the party and it was weakening the party mechanism.
General Secretary Koirala also shared that they were holding internal discussions for new leadership in the party. He argued that the leadership should meet the aspirations of the party cadres from across the nation while claiming that current leadership is failing to do so.
