Relief supplies have been distributed to around 44,000 poor and disadvantaged households of eight districts in State-2, who were facing trouble in the time of lockdown.
According to Information Officer at the State-2 Police Office Police Inspector Tilak Sunar, the relief packages were handed to the indigent sections in eight districts of the State under the aegis of local level, government and nongovernment organizations and donors. The relief materials include food stuffs such as pulses and rice, face masks, sanitizer, clothes.
Meanwhile, total 810 tole and ward committees have been formed in eight districts of the State to keep vigil on the suspected people sneaking into Nepal from India breaching lockdown.
So far, 800 people who entered Nepal from India during the time of lockdown have been held and kept in quarantines and home quarantines, Sunar said.
