Coronavirus control taskforce hands over PPE to hospitals

The COVID-19 control taskforce in the district has handed over the personal protection equipment (PPE) to the hospitals here. Taskforce coordinator and Bharatpur Metropolitan City Mayor Renu Dahal handed over the PPE sets to the health facilities on Friday.

The protective equipments were donated and some bought by the Metropolis. Bharatpur Hospital got 100 sets of PPE, while Chitwan Medical College and College and Medical Sciences 50 sets each, private hospital coordination committee 60 sets and District Police Office 60 sets.

Handing over the PPEs, Mayor Dahal viewed it was necessary to give a message that the district was active in ensuring PPEs. Similarly, taskforce member secretary Dr Bhojraj Adhikari said anyone willing to provide assistance was urged to provide via the taskforce.
