The people coming to Nepal via the same flight in which the a teenager girl tested positive to coronavirus has been kept in quarantine. Five people including a youth from Bahradashi rural municipality-2 in Jhapa district had come together with the girl on March 17. They had come to Kathmandu via Qatar in the QR 652 flight.
After the information about the youth was made public via the social networking sites, the rural municipality suggested the youth to stay in quarantine from Thursday, said Birendra Prasad Rajbansi, Chair of Ward No 3 in the rural municipality.
Similarly, another person come from Qatar has also gone into the quarantine. The youths have said their health condition was normal and suggested the family members and others not to panic.
Similarly, Chief District Officer of Jhapa, Udaya Bahadur Rana, shared that the health condition of all five persons sharing the same flight was normal. They are currently in quarantine, he added.
