International mountain museum shut

Pokhara-based International Mountain Museum has been shut in view of the threat of COVID-19.

The museum operated by Nepal Mountaineering Association has been completely closed down until April 3 upholding the government’s decision to shut cultural and recreational centres gathering more than 25 people, shared museum’s director Shanker Gautam.

However, the sanitation and security related actions within the museum would continue to take place, he informed.
