Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation Padma Kumari Aryal has asked the cooperatives all over the country to concentrate their investments in the productive sectors.

Visiting a cow farm run by Laligurans Multipurpose Cooperative at Khairahani in Chitwan district on Sunday, Minister Aryal made such statement, while praising the move of Laligurans Multipurpose Cooperative. "This cooperative is oriented towards meeting its goal," she said.

She also suggested that the cooperative should bring its other products in the market by opening a dairy industry adding that cooperatives in the country should not only pile the money up but also invest in the productive areas.
