Crew members kept in quarantine return home

A team of 18 crew members of the Nepal Airlines Corporation, who were put into a quarantine following their arrival from corona virus-hit Wuhan of China, returned their home on Sunday after completing their 15-day stay.

The team of the people including pilot of a Nepal Airlines Corporation aircraft were kept in quarantine at a Drinking Water Training Center building in Nagarkot.

They were discharged after reports of their nasal and throat swab specimens tested corona virus negative, it has been said. The families and relatives of the people reached the quarantine area to receive them.

Their swab samples collected on February 16 and 29 were sent to the National Public Health Laboratory for tests, said Nepali Army colonial Shiva Poudel, who was assigned to provide security to the group of the people.
