Chief Minister of State-1 Sherdhan Rai has urged the foreigners to visit Nepal. Inaugurating the 6th Asian Rural Tourism Festival at Kakadvitta of Jhapa district on Sunday, Rai argued that Nepal was the most beautiful and best destination for visitors adding that Nepal is marking Visit Nepal Year 2020 to bring in more tourists in Nepal.

He added that the state-1 itself was the best destination for tourists urging neighbouring peoples to visit the state for their unforgettable memory in their lifetime.

Such a festival is taking place since 2012 in Mechinagar where tourism entrepreneurs from neighboring India, Bhutan and the Maldives are participating.

The organizing committee chair Arjun Karki expected over 50,000 tourists’ footfall in the festival where 60 stalls showcasing tourism products are kept.
