The ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has asserted that the allegation of authoritarianism to the NCP was baseless, and the ill efforts to foment instability and anarchy would be frustrated.

The political report presented jointly by the party Chairmen KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ in the full central committee meeting of the party that kicked off in the capital city on Wednesday argued that elements which made attempts to foment instability and anarchy were now trying to spread false allegation against government and the party. Presenting the joint report, Chairman Dahal reiterated that the reactionary and regressive elements which are against change were still creating instability.

"We need to make headway to scientific socialism with socialist capitalist feature in making capital for the country," he said, adding that the schooling of Leninism and people’s multiparty democracy should be expanded to pave way for prosperity and development.

The political document has accused the main opposition Nepali Congress of being whimsical and compromising which has created confusion. The uncertainty created by it must be foiled with effective publicity mechanism. The report stresses national interest while strengthening international relations. The party would not join any military strategy of foreign country, the report added.

Those speaking against party and government, thereby violating discipline would be taken to action, the report warned.

The unity national generation convention of the party has been proposed for April 5 to April 10, 2021.

Moreover, the government has been suggested for better coordination among the three-tier of government to implement the constitution effectively and protect the achievements made so far.

In the beginning, party Chairman and Prime Minister Oli spoke on the achievements government made in two years and stressed for common understanding on the national ambition of ‘prosperous Nepal: happy Nepali’.

There are 15 groups created to discuss and amend the reports including the political ones. The meeting continues in separate groups on Thursday too.
