Chairperson of the National Assembly Ganesh Prasad Timilsina on Sunday emphasized the need to provide employment-generating education.
"At present, the people acquiring academic certificates are left worried without job opportunities, thus creating negative impacts on the overall education system. Upcoming education system should be able to make academic certificates sellable and valuable. Education should be practical," he said at an event organised here on the Golden Jubilee Celebration of Balkumari Secondary School in Narayangadh.
All teachers, parents and children should be held responsible to increase quality of education, he said. On the occasion, people from various walks of life contributing to the school were honoured.
