Minister for Land Reform, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation, Padma Kumari Aryal, has said productivity of land must be increased to contribute to the economic prosperity of the country.
Minister Aryal said land management is the first condition for building prosperous Nepal. She said so while addressing at a progress review seminar on the performance of Land Revenue and Land Reform, and Survey Offices of 2075/076 fiscal year.
According to her Land Use Act was amended for the eighth time to ensure justice to the downtrodden people with scientific land management. The amendment would solve the problems of landless people and unmanaged settlements.
Minister Aryal also directed the government staffs not to be loyal to any party but to be devoted to people’s service. The seminar is attended by the concerned office chiefs from nine districts of Sudur Paschim State.
