Chief Minister pledges to upgrade Damauli Hospital

Chief Minister of the Gandaki State, Prithvi Subba Gurung, has made his commitment to upgrade Damauli Hospital as the state-level hospital. The Chief Minister made such remarks during a discussion programme with the members of Damauli Hospital Management Committee here Monday.

On the occasion, Gurung announced to initiate the detailed study about the hospital soon adding that it would be easier to develop infrastructures after the report by the technical teams.

He also promised to immediately allocate Rs 30 million for the physical and other development of the Damaui Hospital from the Gandaki State.

Internal Affairs and Law Minister of Gandaki State Hari Bahadur Chuman, member of House of Representatives Kedar Sigdel and Krishna Kumar Shrestha ‘Kisan’, province assembly member Asha Koirala and others were present on the occasion.

Currently, the hospital has 42 beds. The hospital with nearly 16 ropani land is not being upgraded for lack of sufficient land plots.
