Minister for Culture, Tourism & Sports of Regional Government of Extremadura Province of Spain Nuria Flores Redondo has visited various tourism destinations in Parbat. The team led by Minister Nuria visited the highest point of the district Kalanjar and the largest Mahashila or stone of Asia.
National Assembly Chairman Ganesh Prasad Timalsena was also present on the occasion. The team had arrived Kalanjar on Friday via a helicopter in Dadakamero of Modi rural municipality-1, Parbat. On the occasion, the visiting team was welcomed by cultural shows from local Magar, Gurung, Brahman and Darji communities.
The visiting team of Spanish people’s representatives and tourism entrepreneurs also enjoyed mountain viewing and sight-seeing.
Speaking on the occasion, NA Chair Timalsena said the international community had a significant role in realizing Nepal’s goal for Visit Nepal Year 2020, including to bring in 2 million tourists.
