The pie-charts about different house designs, such as foundation, wall, roof and toilet types of Tapli Rural Municipality, Udayapur District is based on 2011 population census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) of Nepal. As of 2011, largest number of houses in Tapli Rural Municipality had foundation as mud bonded with total number of 386 (594.82%) houses, while foundation having wooden piller were 371 (96.11%) houses. Rest of house foundations were other types or except listed here (8), rcc piller (5) and cement bonded (2). With respect to the house wall, most houses had mud bonded wall with total number of 2,417 (90.12 %) houses, while second most houses had bamboo wall with total number of 240 (8.95%) houses. Remaining houses had wood planks (12), cement bonded (9) and other types or except listed here (3) wall. Similarly, there were 2,587 (96.53%) houses that had roof type as thatch followed by 67 (2.50%) houses having roof type as galvanized. Rest of houses had roof type as tile (20), mud (3) and rcc (3). In total, 1,224 (45.60%) houses had ordinary toilet while 998 (37.18%) houses had no toilet and 462 (17.21%) had flush toilet. Just to clarify that, the data that was not stated or information about the people who did not stated what types of house designs they had are not illustrated in the pie chart and are not analyzed here.
