The pie-charts about different house designs, such as foundation, wall, roof and toilet types of Sotang Rural Municipality, Solukhumbu District is based on 2011 population census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) of Nepal. As of 2011, largest number of houses in Sotang Rural Municipality had foundation as mud bonded with total number of 93 (2,095.70%) houses, while foundation having wooden piller were 81 (87.10%) houses. Rest of house foundations were other types or except listed here (8), rcc piller (3) and cement bonded (1). With respect to the house wall, most houses had mud bonded wall with total number of 1,937 (94.86 %) houses, while second most houses had bamboo wall with total number of 92 (4.51%) houses. Remaining houses had wood planks (6), other types or except listed here (5) and cement bonded (2) wall. Similarly, there were 1,421 (69.62%) houses that had roof type as thatch followed by 326 (15.97%) houses having roof type as galvanized. Rest of houses had roof type as wood (242), other types or except listed here (48), rcc (2) and tile (2). In total, 1,035 (50.69%) houses had ordinary toilet while 572 (28.01%) houses had no toilet and 435 (21.30%) had flush toilet.
