The pie-charts about different house designs, such as foundation, wall, roof and toilet types of Shailung Rural Municipality, Dolakha District is based on 2011 population census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) of Nepal. As of 2011, largest number of houses in Shailung Rural Municipality had foundation as mud bonded with total number of 62 (7,866.13%) houses, while foundation having wooden piller were 36 (58.06%) houses. Rest of house foundations were cement bonded (16), other types or except listed here (5) and rcc piller (5). With respect to the house wall, most houses had mud bonded wall with total number of 4,807 (97.41 %) houses, while second most houses had cement bonded wall with total number of 58 (1.18%) houses. Remaining houses had wood planks (48), other types or except listed here (13) and bamboo (9) wall. Similarly, there were 2,644 (53.57%) houses that had roof type as galvanized followed by 1,996 (40.44%) houses having roof type as tile. Rest of houses had roof type as thatch (139), wood (133), rcc (13), other types or except listed here (9) and mud (2). In total, 2,118 (42.83%) houses had no toilet while 1,479 (29.91%) houses had flush toilet and 1,348 (27.26%) had ordinary toilet.
