The pie-charts about different house designs, such as foundation, wall, roof and toilet types of Sandakpur Rural Municipality, Ilam District is based on 2011 population census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) of Nepal. As of 2011, largest number of houses in Sandakpur Rural Municipality had foundation as mud bonded with total number of 538 (572.86%) houses, while foundation having wooden piller were 427 (79.37%) houses. Rest of house foundations were other types or except listed here (61), cement bonded (46) and rcc piller (4). With respect to the house wall, most houses had mud bonded wall with total number of 2,537 (70.20 %) houses, while second most houses had bamboo wall with total number of 551 (15.25%) houses. Remaining houses had wood planks (358), cement bonded (117) and other types or except listed here (48) wall. Similarly, there were 3,011 (83.34%) houses that had roof type as galvanized followed by 346 (9.58%) houses having roof type as other types or except listed here. Rest of houses had roof type as thatch (205), wood (24), tile (22) and rcc (5). In total, 2,442 (67.20%) houses had ordinary toilet while 1,097 (30.19%) houses had flush toilet and 95 (2.61%) had no toilet.
