The pie-charts about different house designs, such as foundation, wall, roof and toilet types of Phalelung Rural Municipality, Panchthar District is based on 2011 population census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) of Nepal. As of 2011, largest number of houses in Phalelung Rural Municipality had foundation as mud bonded with total number of 295 (1,431.86%) houses, while foundation having wooden piller were 268 (90.85%) houses. Rest of house foundations were other types or except listed here (16), cement bonded (7) and rcc piller (4). With respect to the house wall, most houses had mud bonded wall with total number of 3,653 (80.84 %) houses, while second most houses had wood planks wall with total number of 434 (9.60%) houses. Remaining houses had bamboo (384), cement bonded (34) and other types or except listed here (11) wall. Similarly, there were 2,300 (50.90%) houses that had roof type as galvanized followed by 1,913 (42.33%) houses having roof type as thatch. Rest of houses had roof type as other types or except listed here (170), wood (105) and tile (31). In total, 3,561 (78.73%) houses had ordinary toilet while 666 (14.72%) houses had flush toilet and 296 (6.54%) had no toilet.
