The pie-charts about different house designs, such as foundation, wall, roof and toilet types of Madi Rural Municipality, Kaski District is based on 2011 population census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) of Nepal. As of 2011, largest number of houses in Madi Rural Municipality had foundation as mud bonded with total number of 118 (3,708.47%) houses, while foundation having wooden piller were 85 (72.03%) houses. Rest of house foundations were cement bonded (27), rcc piller (4) and other types or except listed here (2). With respect to the house wall, most houses had mud bonded wall with total number of 4,305 (96.01 %) houses, while second most houses had cement bonded wall with total number of 81 (1.81%) houses. Remaining houses had wood planks (50), bamboo (42) and other types or except listed here (6) wall. Similarly, there were 3,034 (67.51%) houses that had roof type as galvanized followed by 828 (18.42%) houses having roof type as tile. Rest of houses had roof type as thatch (612), rcc (16), other types or except listed here (3) and wood (1). In total, 4,186 (93.10%) houses had flush toilet while 225 (5.00%) houses had ordinary toilet and 85 (1.89%) had no toilet.
