The pie-charts about different house designs, such as foundation, wall, roof and toilet types of Kakani Rural Municipality, Nuwakot District is based on 2011 population census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) of Nepal. As of 2011, largest number of houses in Kakani Rural Municipality had foundation as mud bonded with total number of 217 (2,247.00%) houses, while foundation having rcc piller were 117 (53.92%) houses. Rest of house foundations were cement bonded (65), wooden piller (33) and other types or except listed here (2). With respect to the house wall, most houses had mud bonded wall with total number of 4,785 (94.06 %) houses, while second most houses had cement bonded wall with total number of 235 (4.62%) houses. Remaining houses had wood planks (34), unbaked brick (20) and bamboo (11) wall. Similarly, there were 3,728 (73.36%) houses that had roof type as galvanized followed by 921 (18.12%) houses having roof type as tile. Rest of houses had roof type as thatch (223), rcc (177), other types or except listed here (32) and wood (1). In total, 2,793 (54.66%) houses had no toilet while 1,376 (26.93%) houses had flush toilet and 941 (18.41%) had ordinary toilet.
