The pie-charts about different house designs, such as foundation, wall, roof and toilet types of Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City, Makwanpur District is based on 2011 population census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) of Nepal. As of 2011, largest number of houses in Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City had foundation as mud bonded with total number of 19,930 (70.84%) houses, while foundation having cement bonded were 10,130 (50.83%) houses. Rest of house foundations were wooden piller (6,823), rcc piller (2,784) and other types or except listed here (193). With respect to the house wall, most houses had cement bonded wall with total number of 21,806 (64.07 %) houses, while second most houses had mud bonded wall with total number of 5,772 (16.96%) houses. Remaining houses had wood planks (4,969), other types or except listed here (862) and bamboo (494) wall. Similarly, there were 14,040 (41.29%) houses that had roof type as rcc followed by 12,731 (37.44%) houses having roof type as galvanized. Rest of houses had roof type as tile (5,510), thatch (1,492), wood (143), other types or except listed here (84) and mud (4). In total, 22,969 (67.26%) houses had flush toilet while 6,133 (17.96%) houses had ordinary toilet and 5,048 (14.78%) had no toilet.
