House Design Ratios Piechart of Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City, Sunsari District (2011 Census)

The pie-charts about different house designs, such as foundation, wall, roof and toilet types of Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City, Sunsari District is based on 2011 population census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) of Nepal. As of 2011, largest number of houses in Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City had foundation as cement bonded with total number of 29,186 (40.44%) houses, while foundation having wooden piller were 8,700 (29.81%) houses. Rest of house foundations were rcc piller (8,234), mud bonded (3,074) and other types or except listed here (450). With respect to the house wall, most houses had cement bonded wall with total number of 19,090 (59.19 %) houses, while second most houses had bamboo wall with total number of 6,439 (19.97%) houses. Remaining houses had wood planks (4,832), mud bonded (1,130) and other types or except listed here (719) wall. Similarly, there were 17,663 (54.83%) houses that had roof type as galvanized followed by 13,755 (42.69%) houses having roof type as rcc. Rest of houses had roof type as thatch (541), wood (139), tile (81) and other types or except listed here (38). In total, 23,764 (73.22%) houses had flush toilet while 7,736 (23.84%) houses had ordinary toilet and 955 (2.94%) had no toilet. Just to clarify that, the data that was not stated or information about the people who did not stated what types of house designs they had are not illustrated in the pie chart and are not analyzed here.
