House Design Ratios Piechart of Chaukune Rural Municipality, Surkhet District (2011 Census)

The pie-charts about different house designs, such as foundation, wall, roof and toilet types of Chaukune Rural Municipality, Surkhet District is based on 2011 population census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) of Nepal. As of 2011, largest number of houses in Chaukune Rural Municipality had foundation as wooden piller with total number of 3,421 (98.28%) houses, while foundation having mud bonded were 1,137 (33.24%) houses. Rest of house foundations were other types or except listed here (27), cement bonded (17) and rcc piller (15). With respect to the house wall, most houses had wood planks wall with total number of 3,041 (66.72 %) houses, while second most houses had mud bonded wall with total number of 1,418 (31.11%) houses. Remaining houses had bamboo (56), cement bonded (36) and other types or except listed here (5) wall. Similarly, there were 3,829 (84.25%) houses that had roof type as thatch followed by 501 (11.02%) houses having roof type as galvanized. Rest of houses had roof type as tile (136), wood (51), other types or except listed here (14), rcc (13) and mud (1). In total, 2,586 (56.69%) houses had no toilet while 1,038 (22.75%) houses had flush toilet and 938 (20.56%) had ordinary toilet.
