House Design Ratios Piechart of Birgunj Metropolitan City, Parsa District (2011 Census)

The pie-charts about different house designs, such as foundation, wall, roof and toilet types of Birgunj Metropolitan City, Parsa District is based on 2011 population census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) of Nepal. As of 2011, largest number of houses in Birgunj Metropolitan City had foundation as cement bonded with total number of 37,114 (58.61%) houses, while foundation having wooden piller were 10,652 (28.70%) houses. Rest of house foundations were rcc piller (4,575), mud bonded (1,512) and other types or except listed here (134). With respect to the house wall, most houses had cement bonded wall with total number of 25,844 (67.11 %) houses, while second most houses had bamboo wall with total number of 10,574 (27.46%) houses. Remaining houses had mud bonded (1,454), wood planks (492) and other types or except listed here (100) wall. Similarly, there were 23,177 (60.45%) houses that had roof type as rcc followed by 8,648 (22.55%) houses having roof type as tile. Rest of houses had roof type as thatch (3,889), galvanized (2,108), wood (295) and other types or except listed here (226). In total, 19,779 (51.02%) houses had flush toilet while 14,308 (36.90%) houses had no toilet and 4,683 (12.08%) had ordinary toilet.
