Triveni is a Municipality, which is located in Bajura district, Sudurpashchim Province of Nepal. Triveni has total 9 wards, which are scattered across 170 square kilometers of geographical area. According to 2011 Census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Triveni Municipality had total population of 18,363.
Wardwise Population and Households
As per 2011 population census, Triveni Municipality had total 18,363 population with 8,631 males and 9,732 females. Out of total wards, ward number 9 had the largest population 2,992, while ward number 5 had least number of population with 2,992.
With respect to number of households, Triveni Municipality had total 3,350 households. The ward number 6 had most households with total 571, while ward number 5 had least number of households with total 173 number of households.

In terms of age, the largest population in Triveni Municipality were between 5 and 9 years of age with total 2,953. Gender wise, there were 1,411 males and 1,542 females of the same age group. The least populated age group was above 75 with total 241 population, which consistes of 122 males and 119 females. There were only 9,032 people fully literate in Triveni Municipality as of 2011 who were able to both read and write, while 339 people were able to read but not write. In percentage while compared to genderwise population, there were inf percent of male were literate, while the percentage of female literacy was inf only.The literacy ratio between male and female population was nan.
Out of total 6,538 population between the age of 5 and 25 as of 2011 in Triveni Municipality, total 3,206 males and 3,332 females were attending the school. Same as, out of total 1,726 population of the same age group who were not attending the school, total 639 male and 1,087 female were not attending teh school. Out of total 3350 households in Triveni Municipality, there were 3,325 houses that were founded on mud bonded while 3 houses were cement bonded. Same as, 0 households were reported of being founded on RCC piller, 1houses were founded on wood.
With respect to wall of the houses, 3,288 houses were mud bonded, 27 houses were cement bonded, 12 houses were wood planks bonded, 0 houses were bamboo bonded and 1 houses had unbaked bricks on their outer walls.Rest of the houses were reported of having other types of outer wall, while some of them reported nothing of having the outer wall bonding.

In those establishments, total 851 persons are engaged for the economic activities, as a self-employed or an employee, with total male engagement of 594 and female engagement of 257 persons.In every business, there were an average of 2.27 people engaged with average males are 1.58 and females are 0.69. The ratio of male to female engagement in the establishments are 2.31, which means as many as 2.31 males are enagement in the economic activities per female.
Similarly, the engagement of males were 69.80 percent while the females are 30.20 percent.
