Tilathi Koiladi is a Rural Municipality, which is located in Saptari district, Province No. 2 of Nepal. Tilathi Koiladi has total 8 wards, which are scattered across 33 square kilometers of geographical area. There were only 14,852 people fully literate in Tilathi Koiladi Rural Municipality as of 2011 who were able to both read and write, while 416 people were able to read but not write. Out of total 5697 households in Tilathi Koiladi Rural Municipality, there were 341 houses that were founded on mud bonded while 889 houses were cement bonded. Same as, 154 households were reported of being founded on RCC piller, 4,140houses were founded on wood.
With respect to wall of the houses, 226 houses were mud bonded, 889 houses were cement bonded, 44 houses were wood planks bonded, 4,489 houses were bamboo bonded and 11 houses had unbaked bricks on their outer walls.Rest of the houses were reported of having other types of outer wall, while some of them reported nothing of having the outer wall bonding.

In those establishments, total 1,412 persons are engaged for the economic activities, as a self-employed or an employee, with total male engagement of 983 and female engagement of 429 persons.In every business, there were an average of 2.52 people engaged with average males are 1.75 and females are 0.76. The ratio of male to female engagement in the establishments are 2.29, which means as many as 2.29 males are enagement in the economic activities per female.
Similarly, the engagement of males were 69.62 percent while the females are 30.38 percent.
