Thulung Dudhkaushika is a Rural Municipality, which is located in Solukhumbu district, Province No. 1 of Nepal. Thulung Dudhkaushika has total 9 wards, which are scattered across 145 square kilometers of geographical area. According to 2011 Census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Thulung Dudhkaushika Rural Municipality had total population of 19,672.

As per 2011 population census, Thulung Dudhkaushika Rural Municipality had total 13,414 population with 6,529 males and 6,885 females. Out of total wards, ward number 6 had the largest population 2,566, while ward number 1 had least number of population with 2,566.

There were only 7,658 people fully literate in Thulung Dudhkaushika Rural Municipality as of 2011 who were able to both read and write, while 388 people were able to read but not write. In percentage while compared to genderwise population, there were inf percent of male were literate, while the percentage of female literacy was inf only.The literacy ratio between male and female population was nan.
Out of total 4,458 population between the age of 5 and 25 as of 2011 in Thulung Dudhkaushika Rural Municipality, total 2,206 males and 2,252 females were attending the school. Population by Language Spoken
Mostly spoken language in Thulung Dudhkaushika is Khaling, which is spoken by 7,208 people. The Thulung Dudhkaushika has people who speak other languages, such as Nepali, Sherpa, Magar, Tamang, Thulung, Rai, Bhujel, Maithili, Nachhiring, Tharu, Newar, etc.

Out of total 2803 households in Thulung Dudhkaushika Rural Municipality, there were 2,756 houses that were founded on mud bonded while 1 houses were cement bonded. Same as, 1 households were reported of being founded on RCC piller, 32houses were founded on wood.
With respect to wall of the houses, 2,696 houses were mud bonded, 3 houses were cement bonded, 31 houses were wood planks bonded, 56 houses were bamboo bonded and 4 houses had unbaked bricks on their outer walls.Rest of the houses were reported of having other types of outer wall, while some of them reported nothing of having the outer wall bonding.

According to 2018 Economic Census, there are total 263 establishments in Thulung Dudhkaushika Rural Municipality that are involved in various economic activities. In those establishments, total 898 persons are engaged for the economic activities, as a self-employed or an employee, with total male engagement of 462 and female engagement of 436 persons.In every business, there were an average of 3.41 people engaged with average males are 1.76 and females are 1.66. The ratio of male to female engagement in the establishments are 1.06, which means as many as 1.06 males are enagement in the economic activities per female.
Similarly, the engagement of males were 51.45 percent while the females are 48.55 percent.
