There were 37,677 votes casted during 1994 House of Representatives elections in Tanahun District, Constituency No. 2. The candidte of Nepali Congress Party - Ram Chandra secured 22,639 (60.09%) votes and secured victory in the election. The runner-up candidate was Vishwabandhu Bhandari of Nepal Communist Party (Unified Marxist-Leninist) who secured 6,493 (17.23%) votes and came in second position. The difference in votes of Ram Chandra and Vishwabandhu Bhandari was 16,146. All other candidates secured 8,545 (22.68%) votes.
