Sunil Smriti is a Rural Municipality, which is located in Rolpa district, Province No. 5 of Nepal. Sunil Smriti has total 8 wards, which are scattered across 157 square kilometers of geographical area. According to 2011 Census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Sunil Smriti Rural Municipality had total population of 28,213.
Wardwise Population and Households
As per 2011 population census, Sunil Smriti Rural Municipality had total 28,213 population with 12,715 males and 15,498 females. Out of total wards, ward number 2 had the largest population 4,168, while ward number 5 had least number of population with 4,168.
With respect to number of households, Sunil Smriti Rural Municipality had total 5,657 households. The ward number 2 had most households with total 910, while ward number 5 had least number of households with total 547 number of households.

Literacy, Education Levels & Schooling
There were only 14,264 people fully literate in Sunil Smriti Rural Municipality as of 2011 who were able to both read and write, while 876 people were able to read but not write. In percentage while compared to genderwise population, there were inf percent of male were literate, while the percentage of female literacy was inf only.The literacy ratio between male and female population was nan.
Out of total 9,064 population between the age of 5 and 25 as of 2011 in Sunil Smriti Rural Municipality, total 4,556 males and 4,508 females were attending the school. Out of total 5657 households in Sunil Smriti Rural Municipality, there were 5,024 houses that were founded on mud bonded while 177 houses were cement bonded. Same as, 132 households were reported of being founded on RCC piller, 262houses were founded on wood.
With respect to wall of the houses, 4,974 houses were mud bonded, 332 houses were cement bonded, 38 houses were wood planks bonded, 266 houses were bamboo bonded and 0 houses had unbaked bricks on their outer walls.Rest of the houses were reported of having other types of outer wall, while some of them reported nothing of having the outer wall bonding.

out of 5,657 households in Sunil Smriti Rural Municipality, 1,539 houses reported of having no any facility in their household while 4,062 households reported of using at least one facility. According to 2018 Economic Census, there are total 882 establishments in Sunil Smriti Rural Municipality that are involved in various economic activities. In those establishments, total 2,079 persons are engaged for the economic activities, as a self-employed or an employee, with total male engagement of 1,139 and female engagement of 940 persons.In every business, there were an average of 2.36 people engaged with average males are 1.29 and females are 1.07. The ratio of male to female engagement in the establishments are 1.21, which means as many as 1.21 males are enagement in the economic activities per female.
Similarly, the engagement of males were 54.79 percent while the females are 45.21 percent.
