Sukhipur is a Municipality, which is located in Siraha district, Province No. 2 of Nepal. Sukhipur has total 10 wards, which are scattered across 55 square kilometers of geographical area. According to 2011 Census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Sukhipur Municipality had total population of 37,592.
Wardwise Population and Households
As per 2011 population census, Sukhipur Municipality had total 36,883 population with 17,880 males and 19,003 females. Out of total wards, ward number 2 had the largest population 4,974, while ward number 9 had least number of population with 4,974.
With respect to number of households, Sukhipur Municipality had total 6,734 households. The ward number 8 had most households with total 984, while ward number 9 had least number of households with total 439 number of households.

Literacy, Education Levels & Schooling
There were only 15,785 people fully literate in Sukhipur Municipality as of 2011 who were able to both read and write, while 601 people were able to read but not write. In percentage while compared to genderwise population, there were inf percent of male were literate, while the percentage of female literacy was inf only.The literacy ratio between male and female population was nan.
Out of total 8,720 population between the age of 5 and 25 as of 2011 in Sukhipur Municipality, total 4,640 males and 4,080 females were attending the school. Same as, out of total 6,343 population of the same age group who were not attending the school, total 2,619 male and 3,724 female were not attending teh school. The ratio of male and female who were going to school was 1.14 while the ratio for those who were not attending the school was 0.70.The CBS census also states that 285 males and 351 females did not state whether they were attending school or not.

According to Nepal Government records as of 2017, there were total 11,212 in Sukhipur Municipality with 5,471 (48.80%) of males and 5,741 (51.20%) females. There were total 38 schools. In average, 295 students were studying in each school.

Population by Language Spoken
Mostly spoken language in Sukhipur is Maithili, which is spoken by 35,747 people. The Sukhipur has people who speak other languages, such as Nepali, Tharu, Urdu, Newar, Magahi, etc.

Out of total 6734 households in Sukhipur Municipality, there were 148 houses that were founded on mud bonded while 1,306 houses were cement bonded. Same as, 116 households were reported of being founded on RCC piller, 5,091houses were founded on wood.
With respect to wall of the houses, 141 houses were mud bonded, 1,377 houses were cement bonded, 25 houses were wood planks bonded, 5,134 houses were bamboo bonded and 6 houses had unbaked bricks on their outer walls.Rest of the houses were reported of having other types of outer wall, while some of them reported nothing of having the outer wall bonding.

out of 6,734 households in Sukhipur Municipality, 1,601 houses reported of having no any facility in their household while 4,994 households reported of using at least one facility. Economic Census
According to 2018 Economic Census, there are total 732 establishments in Sukhipur Municipality that are involved in various economic activities. In those establishments, total 2,815 persons are engaged for the economic activities, as a self-employed or an employee, with total male engagement of 1,893 and female engagement of 922 persons.In every business, there were an average of 3.85 people engaged with average males are 2.59 and females are 1.26. The ratio of male to female engagement in the establishments are 2.05, which means as many as 2.05 males are enagement in the economic activities per female.
Similarly, the engagement of males were 67.25 percent while the females are 32.75 percent.
