Shubha Kalika is a Rural Municipality, which is located in Kalikot district, Karnali Province of Nepal. Shubha Kalika has total 8 wards, which are scattered across 97 square kilometers of geographical area. According to 2011 Census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Shubha Kalika Rural Municipality had total population of 14,080.

As per 2011 population census, Shubha Kalika Rural Municipality had total 14,080 population with 7,026 males and 7,054 females. Out of total wards, ward number 3 had the largest population 3,163, while ward number 1 had least number of population with 3,163.

There were only 6,750 people fully literate in Shubha Kalika Rural Municipality as of 2011 who were able to both read and write, while 558 people were able to read but not write. Out of total 2458 households in Shubha Kalika Rural Municipality, there were 2,436 houses that were founded on mud bonded while 2 houses were cement bonded. Same as, 0 households were reported of being founded on RCC piller, 6houses were founded on wood.

In those establishments, total 817 persons are engaged for the economic activities, as a self-employed or an employee, with total male engagement of 551 and female engagement of 266 persons.In every business, there were an average of 2.32 people engaged with average males are 1.57 and females are 0.76. The ratio of male to female engagement in the establishments are 2.07, which means as many as 2.07 males are enagement in the economic activities per female.
Similarly, the engagement of males were 67.44 percent while the females are 32.56 percent.
