Rajdevi is a Municipality, which is located in Rautahat district, Province No. 2 of Nepal. Rajdevi has total 9 wards, which are scattered across 28 square kilometers of geographical area. According to 2011 Census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Rajdevi Municipality had total population of 31,292.
Wardwise Population and Households
As per 2011 population census, Rajdevi Municipality had total 30,569 population with 15,998 males and 14,571 females. Out of total wards, ward number 6 had the largest population 4,421, while ward number 2 had least number of population with 4,421.
With respect to number of households, Rajdevi Municipality had total 5,365 households. The ward number 7 had most households with total 1,009, while ward number 2 had least number of households with total 326 number of households.

In terms of age, the largest population in Rajdevi Municipality were between 5 and 9 years of age with total 4,469. Gender wise, there were 2,296 males and 2,173 females of the same age group. The least populated age group was above 75 with total 333 population, which consistes of 171 males and 162 females. Literacy, Education Levels & Schooling
There were only 13,237 people fully literate in Rajdevi Municipality as of 2011 who were able to both read and write, while 728 people were able to read but not write. In percentage while compared to genderwise population, there were inf percent of male were literate, while the percentage of female literacy was inf only.The literacy ratio between male and female population was nan.
Out of total 6,831 population between the age of 5 and 25 as of 2011 in Rajdevi Municipality, total 3,776 males and 3,055 females were attending the school. Same as, out of total 5,464 population of the same age group who were not attending the school, total 2,598 male and 2,866 female were not attending teh school. The ratio of male and female who were going to school was 1.24 while the ratio for those who were not attending the school was 0.91.The CBS census also states that 373 males and 427 females did not state whether they were attending school or not.

According to Nepal Government records as of 2017, there were total 6,681 in Rajdevi Municipality with 3,228 (48.32%) of males and 3,453 (51.68%) females. There were total 24 schools. In average, 278 students were studying in each school.

Population by Language Spoken
Mostly spoken language in Rajdevi is Bajjika, which is spoken by 26,071 people. The Rajdevi has people who speak other languages, such as Maithili, Urdu, Nepali, Darai, Yakkha, Hindi, Rai, Newar, Bhojpuri, etc.

There were as little as Badi caste with population of as little as 11 in total. Out of total 5365 households in Rajdevi Municipality, there were 595 houses that were founded on mud bonded while 1,111 houses were cement bonded. Same as, 63 households were reported of being founded on RCC piller, 3,055houses were founded on wood.
With respect to wall of the houses, 321 houses were mud bonded, 1,051 houses were cement bonded, 71 houses were wood planks bonded, 3,274 houses were bamboo bonded and 24 houses had unbaked bricks on their outer walls.Rest of the houses were reported of having other types of outer wall, while some of them reported nothing of having the outer wall bonding.

With reference to source of fuel, 2,106 households reported their source of fuel as firewood while 151 households had kerosene as their fuel source. The LP gas was used by 59 households as a source of fuel. Moreover, other sources of fuel were cow dung (2,957), bio-gas (5), fuel electricity (0), etc.
Same as, total 2,147 households had reported of having electricity as the source of their household's lighting. The households still using kerosene as source of light were 3,115, while 5 households used solar energy as source of lights. Total 0 households also reported of using bio-gas as a source of light. The ratio of use of electricity as compared to other source of light was 0.40.

out of 5,365 households in Rajdevi Municipality, 980 houses reported of having no any facility in their household while 4,274 households reported of using at least one facility. Economic Census
According to 2018 Economic Census, there are total 307 establishments in Rajdevi Municipality that are involved in various economic activities. In those establishments, total 703 persons are engaged for the economic activities, as a self-employed or an employee, with total male engagement of 519 and female engagement of 184 persons.In every business, there were an average of 2.29 people engaged with average males are 1.69 and females are 0.60. The ratio of male to female engagement in the establishments are 2.82, which means as many as 2.82 males are enagement in the economic activities per female.
Similarly, the engagement of males were 73.83 percent while the females are 26.17 percent.
