Raghuganga is a Rural Municipality, which is located in Myagdi district, Gandaki Province of Nepal. Raghuganga has total 8 wards, which are scattered across 379 square kilometers of geographical area. According to 2011 Census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Raghuganga Rural Municipality had total population of 15,753.
Wardwise Population and Households
As per 2011 population census, Raghuganga Rural Municipality had total 15,753 population with 6,881 males and 8,872 females. Out of total wards, ward number 3 had the largest population 3,936, while ward number 4 had least number of population with 3,936.
With respect to number of households, Raghuganga Rural Municipality had total 4,098 households. The ward number 3 had most households with total 1,015, while ward number 8 had least number of households with total 239 number of households.

In terms of age, the largest population in Raghuganga Rural Municipality were between 10 and 14 years of age with total 1,815. However, gender wise largest population age group differs from the total population, such as largest male population falls between 5 and 9 with total 890 while female population falls between 10 and 14 with total 963 population. The least populated age group was between 70 and 74 with total 401 population, which consistes of 173 males and 228 females. Literacy, Education Levels & Schooling
There were only 9,670 people fully literate in Raghuganga Rural Municipality as of 2011 who were able to both read and write, while 318 people were able to read but not write. In percentage while compared to genderwise population, there were inf percent of male were literate, while the percentage of female literacy was inf only.The literacy ratio between male and female population was nan.
Out of total 4,298 population between the age of 5 and 25 as of 2011 in Raghuganga Rural Municipality, total 2,076 males and 2,222 females were attending the school. Same as, out of total 1,613 population of the same age group who were not attending the school, total 563 male and 1,050 female were not attending teh school. The ratio of male and female who were going to school was 0.93 while the ratio for those who were not attending the school was 0.54.The CBS census also states that 93 males and 106 females did not state whether they were attending school or not.

According to Nepal Government records as of 2017, there were total 2,971 in Raghuganga Rural Municipality with 1,391 (46.82%) of males and 1,580 (53.18%) females. There were total 36 schools. In average, 83 students were studying in each school.

Population by Language Spoken
Mostly spoken language in Raghuganga is Nepali, which is spoken by 13,403 people. The Raghuganga has people who speak other languages, such as Magar, Chhantyal, Kham, Sign Language, Newar, Thakali, Tharu, Maithili, etc.

There were as little as Terai Others caste with population of as little as 13 in total. People of several other castes who live in Raghuganga are Chhetri, Kami, Damai/Dholi, Chhantyal/Chhantel, Thakuri, Brahmin - Hill, Sarki, Newar, Gurung, Thakali, Badi, Tamang, Tharu, Koiri/Kushwaha, Terai Others, etc. Only the population of castes with above 1,000 population are illustrated in the table.

Household Foundation
Out of total 4098 households in Raghuganga Rural Municipality, there were 4,004 houses that were founded on mud bonded while 42 houses were cement bonded. Same as, 13 households were reported of being founded on RCC piller, 24houses were founded on wood.
With respect to wall of the houses, 3,936 houses were mud bonded, 109 houses were cement bonded, 23 houses were wood planks bonded, 10 houses were bamboo bonded and 0 houses had unbaked bricks on their outer walls.Rest of the houses were reported of having other types of outer wall, while some of them reported nothing of having the outer wall bonding.
There were several types of house roofs reported. Total 95 houses were reported of having thatch roofs while 507 houses had galvanized roofs. Similarly, 3,451 houses had roof of tile, 18 houses had RCC roofs, 0 houses had roof of woods while 0 houses were reported having roof of mud. As per 2011 CBS census, some of the houses had other types of roofs while some didn't report about the roof structure.
With respect to the toilets, 1,055 out of 4,098 houses didn't report of having a private toilet for their households. Nevertheless, 2,033 houses were reported of having flush toilet while 1,004 houses reported having ordinary toilets.

out of 4,098 households in Raghuganga Rural Municipality, 771 houses reported of having no any facility in their household while 3,231 households reported of using at least one facility. Economic Census
According to 2018 Economic Census, there are total 524 establishments in Raghuganga Rural Municipality that are involved in various economic activities. In those establishments, total 1,575 persons are engaged for the economic activities, as a self-employed or an employee, with total male engagement of 710 and female engagement of 865 persons.In every business, there were an average of 3.01 people engaged with average males are 1.35 and females are 1.65. The ratio of male to female engagement in the establishments are 0.82, which means as many as 0.82 males are enagement in the economic activities per female.
Similarly, the engagement of males were 45.08 percent while the females are 54.92 percent.
