Purbichauki is a Rural Municipality, which is located in Doti district, Sudurpashchim Province of Nepal. Purbichauki has total 7 wards, which are scattered across 118 square kilometers of geographical area. According to 2011 Census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Purbichauki Rural Municipality had total population of 22,483.
Wardwise Population and Households
As per 2011 population census, Purbichauki Rural Municipality had total 22,483 population with 9,704 males and 12,779 females. Out of total wards, ward number 7 had the largest population 4,252, while ward number 6 had least number of population with 4,252.
With respect to number of households, Purbichauki Rural Municipality had total 4,836 households. The ward number 7 had most households with total 872, while ward number 6 had least number of households with total 504 number of households.

There were only 9,574 people fully literate in Purbichauki Rural Municipality as of 2011 who were able to both read and write, while 644 people were able to read but not write. In percentage while compared to genderwise population, there were inf percent of male were literate, while the percentage of female literacy was inf only.The literacy ratio between male and female population was nan.
Out of total 6,701 population between the age of 5 and 25 as of 2011 in Purbichauki Rural Municipality, total 3,438 males and 3,263 females were attending the school. There were as little as Chamar/Harijan/Ram caste with population of as little as 15 in total. Out of total 4836 households in Purbichauki Rural Municipality, there were 4,742 houses that were founded on mud bonded while 38 houses were cement bonded. Same as, 0 households were reported of being founded on RCC piller, 10houses were founded on wood.
With respect to wall of the houses, 4,671 houses were mud bonded, 102 houses were cement bonded, 15 houses were wood planks bonded, 0 houses were bamboo bonded and 0 houses had unbaked bricks on their outer walls.Rest of the houses were reported of having other types of outer wall, while some of them reported nothing of having the outer wall bonding.

Economic Census
According to 2018 Economic Census, there are total 279 establishments in Purbichauki Rural Municipality that are involved in various economic activities. In those establishments, total 801 persons are engaged for the economic activities, as a self-employed or an employee, with total male engagement of 517 and female engagement of 284 persons.In every business, there were an average of 2.87 people engaged with average males are 1.85 and females are 1.02. The ratio of male to female engagement in the establishments are 1.82, which means as many as 1.82 males are enagement in the economic activities per female.
Similarly, the engagement of males were 64.54 percent while the females are 35.46 percent.
