Pauwadungma is a Rural Municipality, which is located in Bhojpur district, Province No. 1 of Nepal. Pauwadungma has total 6 wards, which are scattered across 119 square kilometers of geographical area. According to 2011 Census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Pauwadungma Rural Municipality had total population of 15,394.
Wardwise Population and Households
As per 2011 population census, Pauwadungma Rural Municipality had total 15,394 population with 7,118 males and 8,276 females. Out of total wards, ward number 3 had the largest population 3,039, while ward number 6 had least number of population with 3,039.
With respect to number of households, Pauwadungma Rural Municipality had total 3,280 households. The ward number 3 had most households with total 630, while ward number 6 had least number of households with total 481 number of households.

Literacy, Education Levels & Schooling
There were only 9,763 people fully literate in Pauwadungma Rural Municipality as of 2011 who were able to both read and write, while 292 people were able to read but not write. In percentage while compared to genderwise population, there were inf percent of male were literate, while the percentage of female literacy was inf only.The literacy ratio between male and female population was nan.
Out of total 4,633 population between the age of 5 and 25 as of 2011 in Pauwadungma Rural Municipality, total 2,269 males and 2,364 females were attending the school. Same as, out of total 1,719 population of the same age group who were not attending the school, total 684 male and 1,035 female were not attending teh school. Population by Language Spoken
Mostly spoken language in Pauwadungma is Nepali, which is spoken by 8,485 people. The Pauwadungma has people who speak other languages, such as Dungmali, Tamang, Bantawa, Newar, Rai, Magar, Sherpa, Bhujel, Khaling, Limbu, Maithili, etc.

According to 2011 census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Pauwadungma Rural Municipality was inhabitted by mostly the people of Rai caste with total population of 5,578. There were as little as Limbu caste with population of as little as 20 in total. People of several other castes who live in Pauwadungma are Chhetri, Tamang, Newar, Kami, Brahmin - Hill, Damai/Dholi, Magar, Sarki, Gharti/Bhujel, Sherpa, Dalit Others, Limbu, etc. Only the population of castes with above 1,000 population are illustrated in the table.

Out of total 3280 households in Pauwadungma Rural Municipality, there were 3,194 houses that were founded on mud bonded while 3 houses were cement bonded. Same as, 5 households were reported of being founded on RCC piller, 62houses were founded on wood.
With respect to wall of the houses, 3,154 houses were mud bonded, 12 houses were cement bonded, 11 houses were wood planks bonded, 78 houses were bamboo bonded and 0 houses had unbaked bricks on their outer walls.Rest of the houses were reported of having other types of outer wall, while some of them reported nothing of having the outer wall bonding.

out of 3,280 households in Pauwadungma Rural Municipality, 746 houses reported of having no any facility in their household while 2,517 households reported of using at least one facility. Economic Census
According to 2018 Economic Census, there are total 412 establishments in Pauwadungma Rural Municipality that are involved in various economic activities. In those establishments, total 857 persons are engaged for the economic activities, as a self-employed or an employee, with total male engagement of 431 and female engagement of 426 persons.In every business, there were an average of 2.08 people engaged with average males are 1.05 and females are 1.03. The ratio of male to female engagement in the establishments are 1.01, which means as many as 1.01 males are enagement in the economic activities per female.
Similarly, the engagement of males were 50.29 percent while the females are 49.71 percent.
