Parshuram is a Municipality, which is located in Dadeldhura district, Sudurpashchim Province of Nepal. Parshuram has total 12 wards, which are scattered across 414 square kilometers of geographical area. According to 2011 Census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Parshuram Municipality had total population of 34,983.
Wardwise Population and Households
As per 2011 population census, Parshuram Municipality had total 34,983 population with 16,794 males and 18,189 females. Out of total wards, ward number 10 had the largest population 4,247, while ward number 2 had least number of population with 4,247.
With respect to number of households, Parshuram Municipality had total 5,990 households. The ward number 10 had most households with total 733, while ward number 2 had least number of households with total 202 number of households.
As illustrated in the chart, the ratio of male to female population was 0.92, which indicates that Parshuram Municipality had 8 percent lower males as compared to the females. Same as, the population to household ratio was 5.84, which means that in average 5.84 family members lived in each household.

In terms of age, the largest population in Parshuram Municipality were between 10 and 14 years of age with total 5,446. Gender wise, there were 2,719 males and 2,727 females of the same age group. The least populated age group was between 70 and 74 with total 406 population, which consistes of 182 males and 224 females. Top 5 most populated age groups were between 10 and 14 (5,446), between 5 and 9 (5,215), below 4 (4,594), between 15 and 19 (3,993), between 20 and 24 (2,848) with total population of 22,096. Literacy, Education Levels & Schooling
There were only 19,802 people fully literate in Parshuram Municipality as of 2011 who were able to both read and write, while 926 people were able to read but not write. In percentage while compared to genderwise population, there were inf percent of male were literate, while the percentage of female literacy was inf only.The literacy ratio between male and female population was nan.
Out of total 12,289 population between the age of 5 and 25 as of 2011 in Parshuram Municipality, total 6,124 males and 6,165 females were attending the school. Same as, out of total 4,241 population of the same age group who were not attending the school, total 1,699 male and 2,542 female were not attending teh school. The ratio of male and female who were going to school was 0.99 while the ratio for those who were not attending the school was 0.67.The CBS census also states that 97 males and 180 females did not state whether they were attending school or not.
Grade 1-12 Students & Schools
According to Nepal Government records as of 2017, there were total 6,200 in Parshuram Municipality with 2,955 (47.66%) of males and 3,245 (52.34%) females. There were total 73 schools. In average, 85 students were studying in each school.

Population by Language Spoken
Mostly spoken language in Parshuram is Doteli, which is spoken by 31,949 people. The Parshuram has people who speak other languages, such as Nepali, Khamchi(Raute), Magar, Kham, Maithili, etc.

According to 2011 census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Parshuram Municipality was inhabitted by mostly the people of Chhetri caste with total population of 22,173. There were as little as Newar caste with population of as little as 11 in total. People of several other castes who live in Parshuram are Brahmin - Hill, Kami, Magar, Damai/Dholi, Sanyasi/Dashnami, Sarki, Thakuri, Lohar, Raute, Badi, Dalit Others, Gurung, Terai Others, Tharu, Muslim, Newar, etc. Only the population of castes with above 1,000 population are illustrated in the table.
Top five castes of people in Parshuram Municipality are Chhetri (22,173), Brahmin - Hill (3,949), Kami (2,712), Magar (1,510) and Damai/Dholi (1,082) with total population of 31,426, which forms 89.83 percent out of total population of 34,983 in Parshuram Municipality.Population by Disability
Out of total population of 34,983, there were total 1,185 (3.39%) disabled persons in Parshuram Municipality with 669 (56.46%) males and 516 (43.54%) females. The physically disabled persons were 484, while mentally disabled people were 56 and intellectually disabled were 48.
Similarly, there were 229 people who were blind and 163 people were deaf, while 64 people were both blind and deaf. Moreover, 109 persons had reported of having speech problems. Total 32 people had multiple disabilities.

Household Foundation
Out of total 5990 households in Parshuram Municipality, there were 4,138 houses that were founded on mud bonded while 269 houses were cement bonded. Same as, 19 households were reported of being founded on RCC piller, 1,517houses were founded on wood.
With respect to wall of the houses, 4,024 houses were mud bonded, 502 houses were cement bonded, 1,347 houses were wood planks bonded, 58 houses were bamboo bonded and 1 houses had unbaked bricks on their outer walls.Rest of the houses were reported of having other types of outer wall, while some of them reported nothing of having the outer wall bonding.
There were several types of house roofs reported. Total 1,477 houses were reported of having thatch roofs while 615 houses had galvanized roofs. Similarly, 2,793 houses had roof of tile, 415 houses had RCC roofs, 133 houses had roof of woods while 346 houses were reported having roof of mud. As per 2011 CBS census, some of the houses had other types of roofs while some didn't report about the roof structure.
With respect to the toilets, 3,198 out of 5,990 houses didn't report of having a private toilet for their households. Nevertheless, 1,694 houses were reported of having flush toilet while 1,065 houses reported having ordinary toilets.

Same as, total 1,840 households had reported of having electricity as the source of their household's lighting. The households still using kerosene as source of light were 632, while 1,493 households used solar energy as source of lights. Total 0 households also reported of using bio-gas as a source of light. The ratio of use of electricity as compared to other source of light was 0.31.

out of 5,990 households in Parshuram Municipality, 1,493 houses reported of having no any facility in their household while 4,225 households reported of using at least one facility. Economic Census
According to 2018 Economic Census, there are total 987 establishments in Parshuram Municipality that are involved in various economic activities. In those establishments, total 2,475 persons are engaged for the economic activities, as a self-employed or an employee, with total male engagement of 1,693 and female engagement of 782 persons.In every business, there were an average of 2.51 people engaged with average males are 1.72 and females are 0.79. The ratio of male to female engagement in the establishments are 2.16, which means as many as 2.16 males are enagement in the economic activities per female.
Similarly, the engagement of males were 68.40 percent while the females are 31.60 percent.
