Loharpatti is a Municipality, which is located in Mahottari district, Province No. 2 of Nepal. Loharpatti has total 9 wards, which are scattered across 50 square kilometers of geographical area. According to 2011 Census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Loharpatti Municipality had total population of 39,579.
Wardwise Population and Households
As per 2011 population census, Loharpatti Municipality had total 39,883 population with 18,949 males and 20,934 females. Out of total wards, ward number 4 had the largest population 7,766, while ward number 9 had least number of population with 7,766.
With respect to number of households, Loharpatti Municipality had total 7,317 households. The ward number 4 had most households with total 1,383, while ward number 9 had least number of households with total 408 number of households.

There were only 13,719 people fully literate in Loharpatti Municipality as of 2011 who were able to both read and write, while 622 people were able to read but not write. In percentage while compared to genderwise population, there were inf percent of male were literate, while the percentage of female literacy was inf only.The literacy ratio between male and female population was nan.
Out of total 8,293 population between the age of 5 and 25 as of 2011 in Loharpatti Municipality, total 4,689 males and 3,604 females were attending the school. Same as, out of total 8,941 population of the same age group who were not attending the school, total 3,719 male and 5,222 female were not attending teh school. The ratio of male and female who were going to school was 1.30 while the ratio for those who were not attending the school was 0.71.The CBS census also states that 166 males and 193 females did not state whether they were attending school or not.

According to Nepal Government records as of 2017, there were total 9,139 in Loharpatti Municipality with 4,424 (48.41%) of males and 4,715 (51.59%) females. There were total 28 schools. In average, 326 students were studying in each school.

Population by Language Spoken
Mostly spoken language in Loharpatti is Maithili, which is spoken by 32,830 people. The Loharpatti has people who speak other languages, such as Urdu, Magahi, Nepali, Hindi, Bhojpuri, Limbu, etc.

Out of total 7317 households in Loharpatti Municipality, there were 114 houses that were founded on mud bonded while 1,883 houses were cement bonded. Same as, 228 households were reported of being founded on RCC piller, 5,007houses were founded on wood.
With respect to wall of the houses, 122 houses were mud bonded, 2,034 houses were cement bonded, 274 houses were wood planks bonded, 4,838 houses were bamboo bonded and 3 houses had unbaked bricks on their outer walls.Rest of the houses were reported of having other types of outer wall, while some of them reported nothing of having the outer wall bonding.

out of 7,317 households in Loharpatti Municipality, 1,219 houses reported of having no any facility in their household while 6,053 households reported of using at least one facility. Economic Census
According to 2018 Economic Census, there are total 969 establishments in Loharpatti Municipality that are involved in various economic activities. In those establishments, total 2,043 persons are engaged for the economic activities, as a self-employed or an employee, with total male engagement of 1,505 and female engagement of 538 persons.In every business, there were an average of 2.11 people engaged with average males are 1.55 and females are 0.56. The ratio of male to female engagement in the establishments are 2.80, which means as many as 2.80 males are enagement in the economic activities per female.
Similarly, the engagement of males were 73.67 percent while the females are 26.33 percent.
