Kumakh Malika is a Rural Municipality, which is located in Salyan district, Karnali Province of Nepal. Kumakh Malika has total 7 wards, which are scattered across 177 square kilometers of geographical area. According to 2011 Census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Kumakh Malika Rural Municipality had total population of 24,972.
Wardwise Population and Households
As per 2011 population census, Kumakh Malika Rural Municipality had total 24,972 population with 11,928 males and 13,044 females. Out of total wards, ward number 3 had the largest population 4,661, while ward number 1 had least number of population with 4,661.
With respect to number of households, Kumakh Malika Rural Municipality had total 4,745 households. The ward number 3 had most households with total 865, while ward number 1 had least number of households with total 570 number of households.

There were only 13,594 people fully literate in Kumakh Malika Rural Municipality as of 2011 who were able to both read and write, while 911 people were able to read but not write. In percentage while compared to genderwise population, there were inf percent of male were literate, while the percentage of female literacy was inf only.The literacy ratio between male and female population was nan.
Out of total 8,934 population between the age of 5 and 25 as of 2011 in Kumakh Malika Rural Municipality, total 4,391 males and 4,543 females were attending the school. Out of total 4745 households in Kumakh Malika Rural Municipality, there were 4,701 houses that were founded on mud bonded while 6 houses were cement bonded. Same as, 0 households were reported of being founded on RCC piller, 8houses were founded on wood.
With respect to wall of the houses, 4,687 houses were mud bonded, 6 houses were cement bonded, 13 houses were wood planks bonded, 3 houses were bamboo bonded and 0 houses had unbaked bricks on their outer walls.Rest of the houses were reported of having other types of outer wall, while some of them reported nothing of having the outer wall bonding.

Economic Census
According to 2018 Economic Census, there are total 537 establishments in Kumakh Malika Rural Municipality that are involved in various economic activities. In those establishments, total 1,776 persons are engaged for the economic activities, as a self-employed or an employee, with total male engagement of 872 and female engagement of 904 persons.In every business, there were an average of 3.31 people engaged with average males are 1.62 and females are 1.68. The ratio of male to female engagement in the establishments are 0.96, which means as many as 0.96 males are enagement in the economic activities per female.
Similarly, the engagement of males were 49.10 percent while the females are 50.90 percent.
