Khaptad Chhededaha has total 7 wards, which are scattered across 135 square kilometers of geographical area. According to 2011 Census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Khaptad Chhededaha Rural Municipality had total population of 18,575.

There were only 7,731 people fully literate in Khaptad Chhededaha Rural Municipality as of 2011 who were able to both read and write, while 300 people were able to read but not write. Out of total 3174 households in Khaptad Chhededaha Rural Municipality, there were 3,127 houses that were founded on mud bonded while 3 houses were cement bonded. Same as, 0 households were reported of being founded on RCC piller, 3houses were founded on wood.
With respect to wall of the houses, 3,088 houses were mud bonded, 17 houses were cement bonded, 26 houses were wood planks bonded, 1 houses were bamboo bonded and 1 houses had unbaked bricks on their outer walls.Rest of the houses were reported of having other types of outer wall, while some of them reported nothing of having the outer wall bonding.

The ratio of male to female engagement in the establishments are 2.69, which means as many as 2.69 males are enagement in the economic activities per female.
Similarly, the engagement of males were 72.88 percent while the females are 27.12 percent.
