Kalyanpur is a Municipality, which is located in Siraha district, Province No. 2 of Nepal. Kalyanpur has total 12 wards, which are scattered across 77 square kilometers of geographical area. As per 2011 population census, Kalyanpur Municipality had total 49,290 population with 23,047 males and 26,243 females. Out of total wards, ward number 12 had the largest population 6,240, while ward number 6 had least number of population with 6,240.

There were only 18,893 people fully literate in Kalyanpur Municipality as of 2011 who were able to both read and write, while 1,231 people were able to read but not write. In percentage while compared to genderwise population, there were inf percent of male were literate, while the percentage of female literacy was inf only.The literacy ratio between male and female population was nan.
Out of total 11,441 population between the age of 5 and 25 as of 2011 in Kalyanpur Municipality, total 6,418 males and 5,023 females were attending the school. Household Foundation
Out of total 9391 households in Kalyanpur Municipality, there were 322 houses that were founded on mud bonded while 1,895 houses were cement bonded. Same as, 677 households were reported of being founded on RCC piller, 6,263houses were founded on wood.
With respect to wall of the houses, 293 houses were mud bonded, 2,395 houses were cement bonded, 409 houses were wood planks bonded, 6,124 houses were bamboo bonded and 17 houses had unbaked bricks on their outer walls.Rest of the houses were reported of having other types of outer wall, while some of them reported nothing of having the outer wall bonding.

out of 9,391 households in Kalyanpur Municipality, 1,843 houses reported of having no any facility in their household while 7,353 households reported of using at least one facility. In those establishments, total 1,766 persons are engaged for the economic activities, as a self-employed or an employee, with total male engagement of 1,239 and female engagement of 527 persons.In every business, there were an average of 2.22 people engaged with average males are 1.55 and females are 0.66. The ratio of male to female engagement in the establishments are 2.35, which means as many as 2.35 males are enagement in the economic activities per female.
Similarly, the engagement of males were 70.16 percent while the females are 29.84 percent.
