K. I. Singh is a Rural Municipality, which is located in Doti district, Sudurpashchim Province of Nepal. K. I. Singh has total 7 wards, which are scattered across 127 square kilometers of geographical area. According to 2011 Census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), K. I. Singh Rural Municipality had total population of 20,903.

As per 2011 population census, K. I. Singh Rural Municipality had total 20,903 population with 8,993 males and 11,910 females. Out of total wards, ward number 4 had the largest population 3,942, while ward number 7 had least number of population with 3,942.

There were only 9,239 people fully literate in K. I. Singh Rural Municipality as of 2011 who were able to both read and write, while 699 people were able to read but not write. In percentage while compared to genderwise population, there were inf percent of male were literate, while the percentage of female literacy was inf only.The literacy ratio between male and female population was nan.
Out of total 6,885 population between the age of 5 and 25 as of 2011 in K. I. Singh Rural Municipality, total 3,407 males and 3,478 females were attending the school. Out of total 4259 households in K. I. Singh Rural Municipality, there were 4,202 houses that were founded on mud bonded while 13 houses were cement bonded. Same as, 0 households were reported of being founded on RCC piller, 13houses were founded on wood.
With respect to wall of the houses, 4,168 houses were mud bonded, 43 houses were cement bonded, 10 houses were wood planks bonded, 1 houses were bamboo bonded and 0 houses had unbaked bricks on their outer walls.Rest of the houses were reported of having other types of outer wall, while some of them reported nothing of having the outer wall bonding.

With reference to source of fuel, 4,230 households reported their source of fuel as firewood while 4 households had kerosene as their fuel source. The LP gas was used by 4 households as a source of fuel. Moreover, other sources of fuel were cow dung (1), bio-gas (0), fuel electricity (0), etc.
Same as, total 796 households had reported of having electricity as the source of their household's lighting. The households still using kerosene as source of light were 541, while 568 households used solar energy as source of lights. Total 0 households also reported of using bio-gas as a source of light. The ratio of use of electricity as compared to other source of light was 0.19.
With reference to source of fuel, 4,230 households reported their source of fuel as firewood while 4 households had kerosene as their fuel source. The LP gas was used by 4 households as a source of fuel. Moreover, other sources of fuel were cow dung (1), bio-gas (0), fuel electricity (0), etc.
Same as, total 796 households had reported of having electricity as the source of their household's lighting. The households still using kerosene as source of light were 541, while 568 households used solar energy as source of lights. Total 0 households also reported of using bio-gas as a source of light. The ratio of use of electricity as compared to other source of light was 0.19.
Facilities
out of 4,259 households in K. I. Singh Rural Municipality, 1,907 houses reported of having no any facility in their household while 2,175 households reported of using at least one facility. Economic Census
According to 2018 Economic Census, there are total 287 establishments in K. I. Singh Rural Municipality that are involved in various economic activities. In those establishments, total 818 persons are engaged for the economic activities, as a self-employed or an employee, with total male engagement of 523 and female engagement of 295 persons.In every business, there were an average of 2.85 people engaged with average males are 1.82 and females are 1.03. The ratio of male to female engagement in the establishments are 1.77, which means as many as 1.77 males are enagement in the economic activities per female.
Similarly, the engagement of males were 63.94 percent while the females are 36.06 percent.
