Jayaprithvi is a Municipality, which is located in Bajhang district, Sudurpashchim Province of Nepal. Jayaprithvi has total 11 wards, which are scattered across 167 square kilometers of geographical area. According to 2011 Census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Jayaprithvi Municipality had total population of 22,191.
Wardwise Population and Households
As per 2011 population census, Jayaprithvi Municipality had total 22,191 population with 10,655 males and 11,536 females. Out of total wards, ward number 11 had the largest population 3,442, while ward number 2 had least number of population with 3,442.
With respect to number of households, Jayaprithvi Municipality had total 4,015 households. The ward number 10 had most households with total 619, while ward number 2 had least number of households with total 134 number of households.
As illustrated in the chart, the ratio of male to female population was 0.92, which indicates that Jayaprithvi Municipality had 8 percent lower males as compared to the females. Same as, the population to household ratio was 5.53, which means that in average 5.53 family members lived in each household.

In terms of age, the largest population in Jayaprithvi Municipality were between 10 and 14 years of age with total 3,415. Gender wise, there were 1,741 males and 1,674 females of the same age group. The least populated age group was above 75 with total 319 population, which consistes of 144 males and 175 females. Literacy, Education Levels & Schooling
There were only 12,324 people fully literate in Jayaprithvi Municipality as of 2011 who were able to both read and write, while 559 people were able to read but not write. In percentage while compared to genderwise population, there were inf percent of male were literate, while the percentage of female literacy was inf only.The literacy ratio between male and female population was nan.
Out of total 7,420 population between the age of 5 and 25 as of 2011 in Jayaprithvi Municipality, total 3,794 males and 3,626 females were attending the school. Same as, out of total 2,307 population of the same age group who were not attending the school, total 867 male and 1,440 female were not attending teh school. The ratio of male and female who were going to school was 1.05 while the ratio for those who were not attending the school was 0.60.The CBS census also states that 110 males and 106 females did not state whether they were attending school or not.
Grade 1-12 Students & Schools
According to Nepal Government records as of 2017, there were total 10,755 in Jayaprithvi Municipality with 5,147 (47.86%) of males and 5,608 (52.14%) females. There were total 61 schools. In average, 176 students were studying in each school.

Population by Language Spoken
Mostly spoken language in Jayaprithvi is Nepali, which is spoken by 16,806 people. The Jayaprithvi has people who speak other languages, such as Bajhangi, Tamang, Doteli, Hindi, Newar, etc.

According to 2011 census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Jayaprithvi Municipality was inhabitted by mostly the people of Chhetri caste with total population of 9,234. There were as little as Tharu caste with population of as little as 12 in total. People of several other castes who live in Jayaprithvi are Brahmin - Hill, Thakuri, Dalit Others, Kami, Sarki, Damai/Dholi, Sanyasi/Dashnami, Tamang, Magar, Badi, Newar, Kayastha, Dhobi, Tharu, etc. Only the population of castes with above 1,000 population are illustrated in the table.

Similarly, there were 79 people who were blind and 78 people were deaf, while 9 people were both blind and deaf. Moreover, 39 persons had reported of having speech problems. Total 24 people had multiple disabilities.

Household Foundation
Out of total 4015 households in Jayaprithvi Municipality, there were 3,747 houses that were founded on mud bonded while 76 houses were cement bonded. Same as, 11 households were reported of being founded on RCC piller, 122houses were founded on wood.
With respect to wall of the houses, 3,614 houses were mud bonded, 203 houses were cement bonded, 100 houses were wood planks bonded, 2 houses were bamboo bonded and 0 houses had unbaked bricks on their outer walls.Rest of the houses were reported of having other types of outer wall, while some of them reported nothing of having the outer wall bonding.
There were several types of house roofs reported. Total 730 houses were reported of having thatch roofs while 199 houses had galvanized roofs. Similarly, 2,841 houses had roof of tile, 156 houses had RCC roofs, 10 houses had roof of woods while 5 houses were reported having roof of mud. As per 2011 CBS census, some of the houses had other types of roofs while some didn't report about the roof structure.

Same as, total 1,853 households had reported of having electricity as the source of their household's lighting. The households still using kerosene as source of light were 626, while 497 households used solar energy as source of lights. Total 0 households also reported of using bio-gas as a source of light. The ratio of use of electricity as compared to other source of light was 0.46.

out of 4,015 households in Jayaprithvi Municipality, 708 houses reported of having no any facility in their household while 3,142 households reported of using at least one facility. Households using at least one facility, such as radio, television, internet, etc. have been illustrated in the table below.Radio was used by the maximum households with total users of 2,709, while MobilePhone was the next mostly used facilities with total household users of 1,885.
Economic Census
According to 2018 Economic Census, there are total 1,212 establishments in Jayaprithvi Municipality that are involved in various economic activities. In those establishments, total 3,583 persons are engaged for the economic activities, as a self-employed or an employee, with total male engagement of 2,231 and female engagement of 1,352 persons.In every business, there were an average of 2.96 people engaged with average males are 1.84 and females are 1.12. The ratio of male to female engagement in the establishments are 1.65, which means as many as 1.65 males are enagement in the economic activities per female.
Similarly, the engagement of males were 62.27 percent while the females are 37.73 percent.
