Ichchhakamana is a Rural Municipality, which is located in Chitwan district, Province No. 3 of Nepal. Ichchhakamana has total 7 wards, which are scattered across 167 square kilometers of geographical area. According to 2011 Census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality had total population of 25,012.
Wardwise Population and Households
As per 2011 population census, Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality had total 25,002 population with 12,460 males and 12,542 females. Out of total wards, ward number 7 had the largest population 4,033, while ward number 1 had least number of population with 4,033.
With respect to number of households, Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality had total 4,778 households. The ward number 5 had most households with total 835, while ward number 1 had least number of households with total 505 number of households.

Literacy, Education Levels & Schooling
There were only 14,103 people fully literate in Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality as of 2011 who were able to both read and write, while 1,103 people were able to read but not write. In percentage while compared to genderwise population, there were inf percent of male were literate, while the percentage of female literacy was inf only.The literacy ratio between male and female population was nan.
Out of total 7,341 population between the age of 5 and 25 as of 2011 in Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality, total 3,788 males and 3,553 females were attending the school. Same as, out of total 3,895 population of the same age group who were not attending the school, total 1,810 male and 2,085 female were not attending teh school. According to Nepal Government records as of 2017, there were total 86,662 in Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality with 42,778 (49.36%) of males and 43,884 (50.64%) females. There were total 62 schools. In average, 1398 students were studying in each school.

Population by Language Spoken
Mostly spoken language in Ichchhakamana is Nepali, which is spoken by 14,617 people. The Ichchhakamana has people who speak other languages, such as Chepang, Magar, Gurung, Tamang, Bhojpuri, Newar, Thakali, Urdu, Maithili, Hindi, Bhujel, Rai, Tharu, etc.

There were as little as Sarki caste with population of as little as 12 in total. People of several other castes who live in Ichchhakamana are Gurung, Magar, Brahmin - Hill, Chhetri, Tamang, Kami, Newar, Gharti/Bhujel, Damai/Dholi, Sanyasi/Dashnami, Muslim, Teli, Thakali, Rai, Kalwar, Tharu, Kathbaniyan, Yadav, Thakuri, Kumal, Terai Others, Majhi, Sarki, etc. Only the population of castes with above 1,000 population are illustrated in the table.

Out of total 4778 households in Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality, there were 2,960 houses that were founded on mud bonded while 628 houses were cement bonded. Same as, 243 households were reported of being founded on RCC piller, 919houses were founded on wood.
With respect to wall of the houses, 2,959 houses were mud bonded, 949 houses were cement bonded, 720 houses were wood planks bonded, 88 houses were bamboo bonded and 3 houses had unbaked bricks on their outer walls.Rest of the houses were reported of having other types of outer wall, while some of them reported nothing of having the outer wall bonding.
There were several types of house roofs reported. Total 1,814 houses were reported of having thatch roofs while 2,026 houses had galvanized roofs. Similarly, 359 houses had roof of tile, 547 houses had RCC roofs, 9 houses had roof of woods while 0 houses were reported having roof of mud. out of 4,778 households in Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality, 727 houses reported of having no any facility in their household while 3,940 households reported of using at least one facility. Economic Census
According to 2018 Economic Census, there are total 988 establishments in Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality that are involved in various economic activities. In those establishments, total 3,649 persons are engaged for the economic activities, as a self-employed or an employee, with total male engagement of 1,828 and female engagement of 1,821 persons.In every business, there were an average of 3.69 people engaged with average males are 1.85 and females are 1.84. The ratio of male to female engagement in the establishments are 1.00, which means as many as 1.00 males are enagement in the economic activities per female.
Similarly, the engagement of males were 50.10 percent while the females are 49.90 percent.
