Hariharpurgadhi is a Rural Municipality, which is located in Sindhuli district, Province No. 3 of Nepal. Hariharpurgadhi has total 8 wards, which are scattered across 344 square kilometers of geographical area. According to 2011 Census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Hariharpurgadhi Rural Municipality had total population of 27,727.

As per 2011 population census, Hariharpurgadhi Rural Municipality had total 27,727 population with 13,275 males and 14,452 females. Out of total wards, ward number 1 had the largest population 4,744, while ward number 4 had least number of population with 4,744.

There were only 12,219 people fully literate in Hariharpurgadhi Rural Municipality as of 2011 who were able to both read and write, while 875 people were able to read but not write. In percentage while compared to genderwise population, there were inf percent of male were literate, while the percentage of female literacy was inf only.The literacy ratio between male and female population was nan.

Out of total 4586 households in Hariharpurgadhi Rural Municipality, there were 1,013 houses that were founded on mud bonded while 6 houses were cement bonded. Same as, 3 households were reported of being founded on RCC piller, 3,524houses were founded on wood.
With respect to wall of the houses, 1,722 houses were mud bonded, 27 houses were cement bonded, 2,017 houses were wood planks bonded, 740 houses were bamboo bonded and 1 houses had unbaked bricks on their outer walls.Rest of the houses were reported of having other types of outer wall, while some of them reported nothing of having the outer wall bonding.

In those establishments, total 3,405 persons are engaged for the economic activities, as a self-employed or an employee, with total male engagement of 1,927 and female engagement of 1,478 persons.In every business, there were an average of 5.68 people engaged with average males are 3.22 and females are 2.47. The ratio of male to female engagement in the establishments are 1.30, which means as many as 1.30 males are enagement in the economic activities per female.
Similarly, the engagement of males were 56.59 percent while the females are 43.41 percent.
