Wardwise Population and Households
As per 2011 population census, Haldibari Rural Municipality had total 28,933 population with 13,320 males and 15,613 females. Out of total wards, ward number 2 had the largest population 7,920, while ward number 5 had least number of population with 7,920.
With respect to number of households, Haldibari Rural Municipality had total 6,415 households. The ward number 2 had most households with total 1,792, while ward number 5 had least number of households with total 763 number of households.
As illustrated in the chart, the ratio of male to female population was 0.85, which indicates that Haldibari Rural Municipality had 15 percent lower males as compared to the females. Gender wise, top 5 most age groups male population were between 10 and 14 (1,687), between 5 and 9 (1,557), between 15 and 19 (1,432), below 4 (1,304), and between 20 and 24 (951), with total population of 6,931. In contrast, bottom 5 least age group male population were between 70 and 74 (239), above 75 (303), between 65 and 69 (366),between 60 and 64 (516), and between 55 and 59 (575), with total population of 1,999. With regards to female population, top 5 age groups females were between 20 and 24 (1,734), between 15 and 19 (1,624), between 10 and 14 (1,624), between 25 and 29 (1,539), and between 5 and 9 (1,445), with total population of 7,966. In contrast, bottom 5 least age group male population were between 70 and 74 (201), above 75 (316), between 65 and 69 (350),between 60 and 64 (455), and between 55 and 59 (567), with total population of 1,889.
The population with age-group 70 to 74 had male to female ratio of 1.19, which states that this age group had maximum males as compared to females. Similarly, age-group 20 to 24 had most female population as compared to male population with male to female ratio of 0.55. The age-groups 70 to 74, 60 to 64, 5 to 9, 65 to 69, 10 to 14, 55 to 59 had majority of male population while age-groups above 75, 15 to 19, 40 to 44, 50 to 54, 35 to 39, 45 to 49, 30 to 34, 25 to 29, 20 to 24 had majority of female population as per male-female ratios. Moreover, age-groups below 4 had eqivalent or almost equal numbers of male and female population with male-female ratios of 1.

Population Ratios
There were 62.41 % (18,237 ) of independent population, the working age people between ages of 15 and 64 years. The dependent children, ages below 15 years, were 30.53 % with total number of 8,921. The dependent elderly population, aged 65 and above were 6.07 % with total number of 1,775. As such, total dependent population including children and elderly people were 36.60 with total number of 10,696
There were 8,589 women of child-bearing age-group of 15 to 49 years. Same as, the todlers or children of 4 years or below were 2,608. Population by Language Spoken
Mostly spoken language in Haldibari is Nepali, which is spoken by 14,715 people. The Haldibari has people who speak other languages, such as Rajbanshi, Limbu, Santhali, Rai, Meche, Maithili, Tamang, Newar, Gurung, Magar, Bangla, Tharu, Bantawa, Kulung, Urdu, Sign Language, Bhojpuri, Chamling, Kurmali, Bhujel, Sherpa, Hindi, Thulung, Sunuwar, Uranw/Urau, Yakkha, etc.

According to 2011 census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Haldibari Rural Municipality was inhabitted by mostly the people of Brahmin - Hill caste with total population of 7,349. There were as little as Koiri/Kushwaha caste with population of as little as 12 in total. People of several other castes who live in Haldibari are Chhetri, Rajbansi, Limbu, Satar/Santhal, Rai, Sanyasi/Dashnami, Meche, Tamang, Newar, Kami, Magar, Gurung, Damai/Dholi, Kurmi, Sarki, Tharu, Bangali, Gharti/Bhujel, Haluwai, Undefined Others, Muslim, Kanu, Brahmin - Tarai, Hajam/Thakur, Dhanuk, Kulung, Majhi, Yadav, Kathbaniyan, Teli, Kumal, Kayastha, Sherpa, Sudhi, Chamar/Harijan/Ram, Musahar, Sunuwar, Yakkha, Sonar, Dhobi, Jhangad/Dhagar, Thakuri, Koiri/Kushwaha, Pattharkatta/Kushwadiya, Terai Others, etc. Only the population of castes with above 1,000 population are illustrated in the table.
Top five castes of people in Haldibari Rural Municipality are Brahmin - Hill (7,349), Chhetri (3,927), Rajbansi (2,935), Limbu (2,892) and Satar/Santhal (2,097) with total population of 19,200, which forms 65.70 percent out of total population of 29,223 in Haldibari Rural Municipality.Population by Disability
Similarly, there were 96 people who were blind and 95 people were deaf, while 8 people were both blind and deaf. Moreover, 72 persons had reported of having speech problems. Total 102 people had multiple disabilities.

Household Foundation
With respect to wall of the houses, 90 houses were mud bonded, 1,427 houses were cement bonded, 677 houses were wood planks bonded, 3,909 houses were bamboo bonded and 10 houses had unbaked bricks on their outer walls.Rest of the houses were reported of having other types of outer wall, while some of them reported nothing of having the outer wall bonding.
There were several types of house roofs reported. Total 898 houses were reported of having thatch roofs while 5,173 houses had galvanized roofs. Similarly, 22 houses had roof of tile, 256 houses had RCC roofs, 27 houses had roof of woods while 0 houses were reported having roof of mud. As per 2011 CBS census, some of the houses had other types of roofs while some didn't report about the roof structure.
With respect to the toilets, 1,818 out of 6,415 houses didn't report of having a private toilet for their households. Nevertheless, 2,181 houses were reported of having flush toilet while 2,402 houses reported having ordinary toilets.
Utilities
With reference to source of fuel, 5,348 households reported their source of fuel as firewood while 28 households had kerosene as their fuel source. The LP gas was used by 413 households as a source of fuel. Moreover, other sources of fuel were cow dung (17), bio-gas (590), fuel electricity (3), etc.
Same as, total 5,237 households had reported of having electricity as the source of their household's lighting. The households still using kerosene as source of light were 972, while 132 households used solar energy as source of lights. Total 0 households also reported of using bio-gas as a source of light. The ratio of use of electricity as compared to other source of light was 0.82.
